Optional Google Analytics 4 is controlled by our analytics consent banner. The Google tag is blocked until you accept analytics. Cloudflare Pages Free serves the site at feedercompass.com and feedercompass.pages.dev.
Current code and hosting
The site stores your analytics choice in local storage under fc-analytics-consent-v1. Google Analytics loads only after acceptance. AdSense, Google Ads, and affiliate tracking are not active. Cloudflare’s documentation says its cookies are generally strictly necessary for the specific Cloudflare features that use them. As checked in the feedercompass.com Cloudflare zone on October 29, 2026, Bot Fight Mode is off, Browser Integrity Check and HTTP DDoS protection are on, and there are no custom or rate-limiting rules. No security cookie was observed on the normal HTML responses checked below. Cloudflare may issue cf_clearance if a visitor completes a challenge, but this has not been observed here. __cf_bm relates to bot-management features and _cfuvid to a specific rate-limiting option; their use on this site has not been observed and the checked settings do not establish that they are active. A future feature or rule change requires this notice to be reviewed.
Analytics cookies and your choice
After acceptance, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. This tag configures a one-year cookie lifetime, which may refresh with use; browser restrictions may shorten it. This is separate from server-side data retention. Your accepted or rejected choice is kept in local storage until you change it or clear browser storage. Both choices are available in the banner. Open Privacy settings to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance saves rejection immediately, disables further measurement, updates consent to denied, removes accessible _ga cookies, and reloads the page without loading the Google tag. Previously examined security responses predate this optional Analytics integration.
Limited deployed check
On October 28, 2026, no Set-Cookie headers were observed across 31 HTML pages checked directly on feedercompass.com through Cloudflare. This does not prove that every browser session or security challenge is cookie-free. Document any challenge-dependent cookies if observed.
Before optional cookies are introduced
Non-essential cookies or similar storage must not be activated until the applicable consent and disclosure requirements have been implemented. The live notice should explain purposes and providers, allow a genuine choice, and provide a way to change that choice. For audiences in Spain, review the current AEPD cookie guidance and applicable law before implementation.
Future advertising and consent management
If WEB4 later serves Google publisher ads to users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, Google currently requires publishers serving personalized ads in those regions to use a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The CMP must be selected and verified against Google’s current list before ad code is activated. Our own analytics consent controls are active; no advertising script or advertising CMP is active.
